UCMMA – The “Alex Reid” Press Conference

With the UK MMA being entertained by the circus that followed MMA fighters Alex Reid and Jason Barrett in the lead up to this fight, all eyes were watching the press conference to see how they would act in front of the press. Of course it all got a bit silly and handbags were thrown. A few of my shots from the conference are below.

Sometimes, as a music photographer, you’re given the run around by artists. The bigger the artists, the bigger the restrictions. However, you only have to look at some of the Music Photography forums (one in particular) to see the problems and obstacles faced by the modern music photographer. However, having been given the okay by X-Factor finalist Cher Lloyd’s management, to be told 10 minutes before she went on stage that she wanted no photographers in the pit, it made life a little difficult. Still, managed to grab a few shots from a vantage point thanks to the ever helpful people at the Oasis in Swindon….

Slagerij – The Bear Pub, Marlborough

This Saturday night saw a sharp change in location as we headed to the Bear Pub in Marlborough for the Massive Marlborough Ska-Attack. Sticky floors and plenty of ska played at suitably loud volumes resulted in an entertaining evening courtesy of the lovely people at The Ocelot mag. Headlining the night were Swindon boy’s Slagerij and here are a few shots from their set.
